Virginia College -- programs geared to the job market
Now in our third decade, Virginia College offers career training programs geared to the needs of the job market. Program areas include business, management, criminal justice, information technology, computer design, health care, and information technology.
Many of the degree program areas offered at the campuses that are located near major military facilities or through Virginia College Online on-line are of special interest to military personnel. They include:
- Criminal Justice (Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees)
- Computer Aided Drafting and Design (Associate's Degree)
- Computer Network Cybersecurity (Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees)
- Management Information Systems (Bachelor’s Degree)
- Accounting (Diploma, Associate’s, and Bachelor’s Degrees)
- Human Resources (Associate’s Degree)
- Practical Nursing (Diploma)
- Surgical Technology (Diploma, Associate Degree)
- Business Administration (Bachelor’s Degree)
- Master of Business Administration
- Health Services Management (Bachelor’s Degree)
- Golf Management (Associate’s Degree from partner school San Diego Golf Academy)
Not all programs are available at all campuses. Students may take a combination of on-line and on-ground classes as available. Many programs are available completely on the Internet via Virginia College Online. Some programs feature externship opportunities. Externships are often available on-base.
